Tropical Horizons Tours – General Conditions

General Conditions: Pick-up times are approximate due to traffic conditions. Please wait outside your reception area 5 minutes prior to arranged pickup time and allow 10 minutes variance.

  • Adult fare: 15 years and over. Children’s Fare: 3-14 years. Children under 3 years of age not occupying a seat - FREE. Pensioner and student fares apply to Australian and New Zealand citizens only.
  • Cost of morning, afternoon tea, lunch and entrance fees not included unless so stated.
  • Information correct at time of publication but is subject to amendment without prior notice.
  • We do reserve the right to, cancel, alter, or change any Tour, or the Itinerary, but do so only in circumstances due to adverse weather, unsuitable road conditions or our operational needs and/or minimum numbers. This would be done with full consideration of your interests. We are not liable for connecting with any personal forward travel connections.
  • Tropical Horizons Tours are not responsible or liable for death or injury to any person, loss of property or otherwise, due to any persons negligence, nor for any inconvenience and or any delay caused by any reason, not limited to weather, accident, injury, theft or negligence caused to, or expenses incurred by any passenger however caused by arising out of provision of services or failure to provide services. Some Tour activities are inherently adventurous and involve a degree of personal risk and passengers hereby accept responsibility and liability for such.

    • Variation/Alteration Policy: Bookings altered, changed or varied 24hrs prior to departure and re-booked for another Tour or departure date,may incur a handling fee of $10 per passenger. This fee is payable at the time of booking alteration/variation.

    Cancellation Policy: A 100% charge will apply to all booking cancellations made within 24 hours prior to departure. Travel and sickness Insurance is therefore strongly recommended.

    Off-load Policy: Some Tours may be operated by another contractor who maintains an equivalent high standard of service.

    Payment: $AUSTRALIAN by cash, travellers cheques or credit cards. (Please only one card per Tour voucher with credit card payments ).

    Credit Card Fees: apply for use of Visa/Mastercard, 2% and for Amex, 3.5%.

    Sunlover Reef Conditions

    Child & Family
    Child 4 -14 years (inclusive) - Family 2 adults + 2 children - Children under 4 years of age may travel free of charge.

    Cancellations
    Any bookings cancelled within 48 hours of departure are will be subject to a cancellation charge.
    A 100% cancellation fee will be charged for "no show" on date of travel.
    A 50% cancellation fee will be charged for groups cancelling within 48 hours of departure.
    No cancellation charges will apply for passengers failing to travel due to:
    .  Ill health;
    .  Minor changes to group numbers;
    .  Group or FIT passengers re-scheduling.

    Environmental Management Charge (EMC)
    An Environmental Management Charge (EMC) of AUD $5.00 (effective 1 April 2007) per person is payable for reef destinations. The Australian Government imposes this charge and it is included in our prices. EMC plus other port and administration charges total AUD $7.00.

    Prices
    All quoted prices are inclusive of Goods & Services Tax of 10% levied by the Australian Government. All prices and conditions of travel may be changed at the discretion of Sunlover Reef Cruises.
