Kuranda Village Tours
Kuranda Village is a quaint little township in the rainforest, situated where both Skyrail and the Kuranda Scenic Train journeys terminate. Kuranda Village is famous for arts and crafts and indigenous artifacts and the excellent attractions of the Butterfly Sanctuary, Koala Gardens, Birdworld and the Aviary. Passengers travelling with Tropical Horizons Day Tours may obtain discount entry to these attractions (show your tour sticker, train/railway or Skyrail pass). Both The Original Kuranda Markets and the Heritage Markets now open daily.
After some free time in Kuranda Village exploring either the markets and galleries and all else on offer - board the Skyrail near midday.
Relax & enjoy the world's most beautiful rainforest experience, if you wish stop briefly enroute to explore the two stations and boardwalks. Arrive at Skyrail at Caravonica Lakes, where our coach will transfer you via the coast road providing a great scenic drive to Hartley's Crocodile Adventures.
Kuranda, Train, Skyrail and Crocodile Adventures Tour (6KEH)
This is truly the best place to see crocodiles in Tropical North Queensland -- a unique eco experience on the lagoon, cruising through ecologically significant Melaleuca wetlands. This is the home of the saltwater crocodile! Explore the rest of the expansive park with its abundance of wildlife; get up close with venomous snakes at the Snake Show, water birds, turtles, wallabies and cassowaries. See the notorious head shake and death roll of a huge crocodile at the Crocodile Attack Show where you will be entertained with fascinating information on these prehistoric reptiles. Following afternoon tea, the cruise on Hartley's Lagoon will provide guaranteed close up sightings of estuarine crocodiles to conclude your action packed day - before a relaxing coastal drive home to your accommodation. For those with less time looking for a Half Day Hartley’s Croc Cairns Tour option, try the 7H tour which collects you from your accommodation around midday and takes you via the magnificent coast road providing a great scenic drive to Hartley's Crocodile Adventures, where you have 3 hours to explore the Snake show, Lagoon cruise, the Attack show and much more.

Alternatively take one of our Rainforestation Tours. Set on 100 acres of lush rainforest. Your tour includes the Amphibious Rainforest Army Duck, a guided tour of the Tropical Fruit Orchard, the Koala Wildlife Park where you can feed the kangaroos and wallabies and take in a photo opportunity of one of the many crocs, along with the exciting Pamagirri Aboriginal Dance performance. Coach Transfer back to Kuranda. A Tropical BBQ buffet lunch can be included if desired.
